Cheshire Hunt North Branch of the Pony Club

WOULD YOU LIKE TO REPRESENT YOUR BRANCH ON A TEAM JUMPING IN THE SHOW JUMPING AREA 5 WINTER LEAGUE THIS WINTER?

All members are being asked to register an interest if they wish to represent the branch in the SJ winter league 2009/2010. Please note that 3 working rallies MUST have been completed in order to represent our branch, (as per the Winter League and PC rules). Teams will be selected on ability, based on results over the summer season. A selection evening may be organised if it is deemed necessary. Please note that members willing to jump regularly, including travelling to the North Wales competitions, will take priority over those wishing only to compete at the local venues. However there will be team places for ALL. In-order to get our entries in on time the branch team closing date will be at least 10 days prior to the competition, (again details will follow).

Please note there have been slight rule changes from last year. Current rules can be viewed on the area 5 website. More information will follow shortly.

Class 1	10 and under - 2'3"
Class 2	13 and under - 2'6"
Class 3	Intermediate - Any age 2'9"
Class 4	Open - Any age 3'3"

Dengie Winter League Show Jumping Series

There are three stages to this competition: Preliminary Rounds are held throughout the country from October to February. The first four and any tying for these places at each of the Preliminary Rounds will be awarded rosettes and qualify to go forward to one of 19 Area Competitions. The Open competition was set up in the Spring of 2006 for Members wishing to jump round a bigger course of fences. Members qualify by competing at an Area competition where the first three go forward to the Final.
